Coffee Reduce Risk of Cancer Endometrium

Consuming a glass of coffee has become part of the lifestyle. This is the reason many shops sprouting coffee treat that special present, both the scale of five feet at the curb until the line of top class cafe.

But actually the coffee is not just a matter of passion and lifestyle, a new study finds that long-term coffee consumption may help reduce the risk of endometrial cancer, known as the growth of tissue or lining of the uterus lenders outside the womb.

Magnet Therapy Helps Heal Stroke

Recently there is new research in the Department of Neurology University of Miami show that stimulates nerve cells in the brain with magnetic therapy can help recovery from stroke.

During Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), the doctors placed a large magnetic coil against the scalp of patients, which creates an electrical current to stimulate nerve cells. After a stroke, one side of the brain can become overactive and the other side can be overloaded at work. With TMS therapy, the balance between the two sides of the brain can be restored.

From research conducted by the Department of Neurology, ten of the 20 people who suffer from stroke, accept magnetic therapy every day for two weeks. Whereas the other 10 received treatment outside of TMS.

After walking for two weeks of the study, the stroke patients were tested to measure the level of copying lines and figures, the test also linking daily activities, like reading the numbers on a cell phone call, the selection of coins, to read the menu.

Overall, participants who received the magnetic therapy increased by 16.3% due after the therapy, the patient’s recovery rate increased to 22.6%.

Researchers Giacomo Koch, MD, PhD, of the Santa Lucia Foundation in Rome, Italy, and colleagues showed that the recovery could be the combined effect of a mental exercise as well as TMS.

According to Ralph L. Sacco, MD, chairman of the Neurology Department at the School of Medicine, University of Miami, the study of TMS is very interesting and important. This discovery is the first step to a process of healing strokes.

Rose Extracts Reduce Risk of Heart Disease
